delay in starting process?

Does any one know how long does it take for the mailroom in the Texas service center to forward the documents??? I have sent the H1B petition with premium processing on january 24th which means that the documents should have reached the immigration office by 26th. I still havent recieved a conformation. Doesnt premium processing apply to speedy processing ? :confused:
 
Did you not get the Receipt Notice?

Also, be patience. Your approval might be on the way by now.;)
 
I still havent got a reciept notice. i heard that the USCIS is taking longer time to send a confirmation. it is veryu frustrating not to know what exactly is going on with the USICIS.
Is any one else facing the same problem or is it just me?

premium processing at Texas

How long did it take to get your receipt and approval from Texas ?
I have applied for Premium processing last week and have not heard anything back.
Can you please give an idea ?

well i did not recieve a reciept from the INS office because they had lost my application in their office. my lawyer found it out after calling the INS office in Texas continually for a cpl of days. after resending a copy of my petition, they processed it in 3 days. but my case is not just another case because they had lost my documents.. in general you should recieve a reciept within 8 - 10 days and by the time you recieve your reciept, your application should have been adjudicated. I would suggest you to check with the INS if you do not recieve a reply in about 15 days.

i just hope that the do not repeat the lost application reason to delay some one else's petition.
