I worked at a company but recently consider to go to academia. Is this considered as similar job category? How I can find out if I can change my job to a faculty job after 180 days of filing I485?thanks!

Can these two positions consider similar?
1. Statistician
2. Statistics, teacher, postsecondary

I know their SOC code is different, but any chance they can be considered similar?
Would you suggest me to consult a lawyer about the portatbility of my current I140?
My currently lawyer was hired by my company. If I want to apply for AC21, should I hire my own lawyer (a different one) or should I hire the same one?

I am a programmer analyst on my labor application and the new title is prinicpal solutions engineer. is that ok for ac21 rule?

do i need a job description from the new employer similar to the labor app? or do i just need a title, salary, location etc...
how important it is get this letter?
