Yes - I am from a zip code that has very few people filing for I-485 approval - hence my fp date was 11-27-2001 even though the rd date was July 15 2001 - we were all surprised because 2 friends in bay area of april rd got fp around 11-27-2001.
But even though my fp has been done earlier could u give a ballpark estimate of when approval is likely

Please do not answer with non specific words like - soon.

I am aware that any estimate is a guesstimate and would still like to ask u to guess

Currently my company is definitely not doing well and the tension is mounting

I understand that u r also in july rd batch

Sorry could not reply earlier. Here\'s my best guess reply....

I expect APRIL/MAY/maybe a few JUNE RD cases to be already assigned for adjudication at this time. I don\'t think any JULY RD cases have been assigned yet. They will only get assigned if there are no more earlier months\' RD cases ready for adjudication. I also believe that there are several APRIL/MAY RD cases which made it to the adjudication-ready shelf only recently. This would be because of delayed FP dates for folks in the San Jose area. JULY RD cases will wait until those are cleared. My guesstimate is that JULY RD cases will get assigned sometime in February. If that happens, you gotta remember that in JULY, EB3 PD\'s became current for everyone. So, I expect a lot more applications in JULY than in MAY or JUNE. Therefore, even if your case gets assigned in February it will be a few weeks before the JULY RD traffic jam gets resolved. Depending on where in this JULY RD approval batch your case falls, you should see approval anytime in MARCH. I would not be surprised if JULY RD cases start seeing approvals as early as late FEBRUARY or as late as early APRIL. FYI, I did my FP on 11/06 and my AVM used to say "collected... 11/16... pending review". I have not checked to see if, as for many other folks, the AVM has changed to "resumed". I am not going to sweat it just yet. This is just a guesstimate, don\'t shoot me if I am wrong :-)

thank u dee rod

First of all thank u very much for ur reply

well - it just is that my company is not doing well. And yes i guess i am near the laxman rekha of 180 days and guess i shall pass that soon without layoff.

But it will be very very nice to hear the \'sweet sweet\' words of
\'Your case has been approved\'

We value ur analysis and hope that all cases get approved without rfe or interview soon

Shall start keeping the champagne for cooling once i hear the sweet words of approval in time for the mail man bringing the approval notice.
