Because 5 years have not passed, they do not need you to have committed fraud in order to revoke your mistakenly issued gc. Even though for naturalization purposes you gc is backdated one year back, that is probably not like that for the purposes of your gc being revoked

Hey, it's been some time since our last conversation. I thought I'd share the rest of my story. So I appealed the N400 denial and the case was pending till yesterday. I thought the N336 gets processed at the field office where the denial came from, but mine was at the NBC service center until 3 weeks ago. Yesterday I got the email that I was scheduled for the oath!!!! At first I didn't recognise the case number, it was not the appeal one but the original N400 case number. Needless to say I'm very happy. Good luck in your cases to all who read my story! Peace!
