Decision Cannot Be Made - Seattle experience?

Well, the shoe dropped after 3 weeks. Got the Oath Letter yesterday:) So did my co-worker that I mentioned in the first post.

I am not sure what was the reason for not making the decision that day itself, but it seems moot now. Best wishes to all... this forum and everyone on it have been extremely helpful & informative.

Interview was done on 18th october, 2010.
No decision was made in the interview.
They gave for N-652 saying:

* You passed the tests of English and U.S. history and government.
* USCIS will send you a written decision about your application

When was the anniversary of your green card, either 3yr or 5 yr? In all cases, if your interview is before the completion of your anniversary, then a decision won't be made till you complete the anniversary. Just wait for a while and a decision will be mailed.

How long had you been married to your US citizen spouse at the time you filed your N-400? You have to have been married for full 3 years to a US citizen to be eligible to apply. 3 full years, and the spouse has to have been a US citizen during the whole time, i.e. if you are married and your spouse naturalizes today you would have to wait 3 years before you can apply under the 3 year rule regardless of how long you have been married to that same spouse. If you have been married 3 years then you can start thinking about applying the 90 (I recommend 85) days earlier for continuous residence. Is it possible that you miscalculated some date and applied too early?
