Decision Cannot be made at this time - Question

All,
I had citizenship interview on Dec 10th which was 7 days short of the reqd 5 yr period.
Immigration officer said right after the interview that I did fine in the interview but she cannot make a decision on my case since I am 7 days short of the 5 yr period. She made a note saying that case will be appoved on the 17th of Dec.
I still don't see any updates should I be worried? when should I start calling USCIS?

BTW my case is with Baltimore DO

Take a deep breath and relax. Call USCIS and ask for a second level officer nicely. You probably will be told to wait for a decision. But I've had some good luck with calling USCIS. Hopefully the second level officer will give you the information you are looking for.

Just wondering how I get to talk to a second level officer. I heard it's next to impossible to get a live person at USCIS.
