I sent my passport to St.Louis on 12/19 and pending..I wonder how many days it will take for my file to go to DC?any ideas?

Hi,
How did u know that money order has been cashed? I sent money order also. Can u please explain, we I know that money order I sent has been Cashed or not?

U can call up the bank from which you took the money order to check on if the MO was cashed or not. For example, in my case I took it from western union and they have a toll free number, which asks for money order number and the amount of it, to tell you if it was cahsed.

But I am not sure how this is relevent as this is not tellling us any thing about the the status of our aplications. Well, on the brighter side it at least tells me that some one has opened my package :)

I got my money order from Postal office. I will ask from them..
But We don't know whther it was cashed in St. louis Office or in DC?

Just spoke to lady at the DC visa office, said ( ..as ususal!), taking 10-12 weeks from date received in DC for PP to be processed.

Waited 26 minutes on phone, number is 202-663-1225, press 1 then 0, then wait for someone to speak to you.

Guys,

Iam in September thread.

Please note that if you are using couriers other than Fed-Ex such as Airborne, be aware that couriers like Airborne don't have a regular pickup at the Visa office. You have to call up Airborne to pickup your PP once it's ready.

Hope this helps someone!
 
I am planing to send my passport very soon for Visa revalidaion.
How long its taking for H1B revalidation in Washington DC? Also what is the procedure to send passports to their office and then how to check the status.

Also is it possible to get revalidation from Canada. I have canadian PR. so should I go to canada or should send passport to DC office.

Any help will be appreciated.
