Hi All,

I recieved mine and my family (wife and daughter) passports.

Visa is approved on 3/18/04.

I had my last name misspeled in I-797, i539 (both) and even in my employers Letter also.....
I am Lucky they didn't raise that one as 221(g)....

I added my name to the list.....

Received Passports at last !!!

Hello friends,

Received the passports today by USPS ( big mistake - took 4 days). Everything looks fine. Would also like to tell those waiting to call up the Dept. of State and query them on your application status. Nowadays, they do tell you the status and are very courteous too.

I don't think so sajeev...once is refuse you are out of USA...but I think if your papers are in order you should be approved......

As far as I know one cannot come back.But you should definately consult a lawyer before taking any decision

They said photos does not match the required size of 2X2
and also should be taken within 6 months.

Congrats , so it approximately took 10 days(business +working) to get your passport back Correct?.Did you call them in the interim to inquire about it?

Also Kalse2000 Did you send your passport back for revalidation.

Yes it took approx 10 days , but saw in some other threads it may come within 10 days also. I did not call them up in between to ask status.

Hi ALL

My 221g said that I should go abroad to get visa from there. Looks like they want me to go embassy and have interview.. somethinf like that ... Becuase that 221g documents said nothing except that marked last point where it said that you should get visa abraod. I don't know, If I should send application again or not? Please give me some good advice.

Hi Friends,

Is there anyone on this list who has sent passport and got Visa stamped for second time revalidation. I have completed 5 yrs on H1 and sent my PP for sixth year stamping and I did not send the exp letter from the previous employer.

Guys I received my passport stamped on 03/25 .Everything is looking good , it just took 6 days to reprocess , after I send it again with new photographs.I send my passport back on 03/18 and received it on 03/25.

HAPLABOR,

I think as long as you have sent a letter from your current employer ,you should not have any problems .
