December '02 485/AP/EAD MD/RD Tracking

Can anyone clarify for me MD,RD and ND.

I suppose MD is the date the application was sent to INS, and RD is the date INS issues the Receipt , is that Correct ?

My 140/485/ead/ap was sent to INS on 02/12/03, and i have been told that the receipt is issued in 6-8 weeks. and fp notice in 6-8 months, is that correct ?

MD - Mailing date - date when you mailed the application.
RD - Receipt date - date when INS received the application.
ND - Notice date from INS
FP - Finger printing date
EAD - Employment Authorization Document

Congratulations, This shows that things are moving--slow pace.
So I can expect my EAD Card in a week or so(My ead approved on Feb12,2003).

Hi Guys,

My I 140/I 485 ( concurrent filing) FILED ON 12/06/2002.
RD 11/14/2002.
ND 12/06/2002.

I recieved finger prints notice on 12/19/2002

I did complete finger printing on 01/24/2003.

When I check my case online it still says

Current Status:
On December 19, 2002, we mailed a notice requesting that you appear for fingerprint recording. The notice also gave the times and location where this processing could be done. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please contact the service center where you submitted your application during business hours.

They supposed to update the status to we recieved finger prints etc...
when i called F.B.I ,THEY mentioned to me they already responded to I.N.S on next day itself. Please suggest me what to do now . when i called my attorney they are help less too.
 
FP Update...

Hi Porus,

It takes about 10 days to update on website that your FP was recieved. So don't panic. Wait. INS website is sometimes not updated for days.

Mine FP was done on 18th but it updated that it has recived my FP on 3rd March. This will give you clear Idea.
 
My wifes fingerprints were done by computer on 20th feb and the ins online case status said they had recieved them within 5 days. Mine were done on the 21st Feb but manually rather than by computer and my case status took about 10 days to update.

No other progress though
 
I finally got online approval of my (and my wife's EAD)
