Dec'2002 RD/JAn' 2003ND ..what to do?

Hi

I have my I-485 with Dec'2002 RD/ Jan'2003 ND . I have done my 2nd FP 1 sept'04 and now i see that the dates have jumped to jun'2003 , iam deeply worried. Staus enquiries doesn't seem to help anybody, what can i do. Irrespective whether the dates mean anything or not, since they are 6 months past my dates mean, what does it mean to me. Its already a painful 7 years and when can we be free? Iam going to talk my lawyer next week but iam not sure what he will say. Please let me know if any body contacted any MD senator and how helpful they are

Here's my humble opinion

It all depends on what you want to do. But if you are waiting to see
what others will do for you, here's my humble 2 cents :

1) If you asked your attorney, they will say " we can't do anything, you
just have to wait".

2) If you enquired VSC or National Customer Service Center, they will take
all the information from you , maybe including the date of birth of your
mom's first cousin, and then trash that paper in a dust bin.

3) If you contact a senator or congressman, they will first eye you to check
how much $ you have and can you donate to their coffers in future.
Then they will take all your info and forward it to VSC and ask you
to wait for 30 days. 30 days later you can repeat the process for
another 30 days and so forth. You can go on.

Summary is ...the attorney already has been paid. USCIS employees
will get their salaries no matter what. The Senator or Congressman is
looking at his next election.

So WHY SHOULD ANYONE HELP YOU OTHER THAN YOURSELF ?

Initiate Status enquiry calling VSC directly. You are not alone, there are many unfortunates with Dec'2002 RD/ Jan'2003 ND. All the best
 
Looks like they are not picking the cases based on RD, instead they are picking up cases based on the FP dates and also check your last updated date. Although it is unfair to process cases later than June 5, 2003 while leaving you up in the air, i believe they are just picking up cases which are ready to be adjugated in their so called "SHELF"
 
dont beleive in status enquiry

I dont have any trust in those status enquiries. Besides if you do that you can not call again next 30 days probably for a mail that will read out the same message from the website. LUD has changed twice after 2nd FP on 9/1 but iam not sure what for. The message has been same since the First FP. One thing is for sure, this is totally unfair beyond any senses. Employer has always been the meanest, atleast these guys should have some regard

Guys who have had their FP2 have at least some hope. There day could be any day now. But What about the people who did not have FP2. I hear that still there are people with RD early 2002. :confused:

RD=Dec/2002
ND=Jan/2003
FP1=Feb/2003
