Thank god, finally my case approved after 19 months. Thanks to every one.

My case details:
PD : 11/01/1999 (EB2/RIR/Detroit/India)
RD: 12/06/2000 (LIN-01-056-XXXXX)
ND: 12/14/2000
FP: 03/9/2002 (Very late request)
RFE Issued 5/06/2002 (For employment verification)
RFE Received 5/13/2002
RFE Sent on 5/14/2002
No Ack. on AVM till 6/5/2002. RFE Resubmitted on 6/6/2002. AVM Ack. on 6/11/2002.
Finally case approved on 6/29/2002. I have checked AVM yesterday (7/1/2002) nothing new. But, today I heard golden words.

Congrats !! .... A question to kon1

My rd is 12/2000. No word yet.

Just wondering if you had to redo FP ? I understand that FP is VALID for 15 months...

Was your I-140 approved for CP ? Did you approch any Congressman/Senator ? Since your case is an old one, what are the options you tried ? Did your lawer approch AILA ?
My I-140 approved for CP. Applied AOS. RD/ND 03/2001.
Each time I call, IIOs are not able to tell me what is wrong with my case. Neither the lawer is able to help me. Any input will help.

 Even though I have selected lawyer, he is not much help. I was in touch with congresswoman representative every Month from getting finger prints to approval (I think, my case was delayed because of FP. We got FP request after 14 months from RD)
