Dec 2002 Guys..Are we closer?

Hello Gurus:

Looks like VSC is clearing Sep & Oct cases mainly for those who did their FP2 in June. Based on my findings most of the 12/2002 guys got FP2 scheduled in August.

I did mine ealry in July (Scheduled date was 08/2004). No LUD change yet.
I have mine doubts whether early FP helps. May be they pull the files based on the FP schedule dates rather than results receive date from FBI.

Do you think we are closer? Another 2 months to 3 months?

In my situation its just like you. RD is 12/4/2002. Did 2nd FP for my wife on 7/20 and me 7/24. After the LUD has not been changed. LUD changed on 7/21 and 7/22 because we notified in june about our address changed. That got reflected. They resend the FP notices to new address. After that there is no change to old FP1 message and LUD is still 7/22.

Hope BCIS receive the FP2 results soon back from FBI. I don't have any RFE or queries from the date we applied for I-140/485/EAD/AP. 2nd EAD approved in February 2004. Hope i won't get a chance to apply for 3rd EAD :)
 
Got our FP2 done yesterday (12/20/02 RD)

My wife and I got our FP2 done yesterday (08/07) at San Jose ASC, which was our scheduled date. We moved to CA early July and filed change of address and also called the national number. Vermont sent our FP notices to our old address ,which got returned ,but which they again mailed it back to our new CA address. Our lawyers had mailed us the courtesy copy of the FP notices by that time. We went 3 weeks back to do early FP and find out if the SJC center would do the finger prints They said they would do it only on the scheduled date. Hence went yesterday (scheduled date) and got the FP done.

Hope the next step is approval.

VSC is behind on FP2 cases. Its 4 weeks now. Best case I wish to hear some thing before end of August.

Hello Guys,

I got FP2 notice(485 rd dec23). i see some of you went early, when you early, do we have to reschdule our appointment or we can just walk in to that center???

when u said VSC is behind the FP2 cases and best time is 4 weeks. U mean that VSC is approving 485 applications within 4weeks time after the 2nd FP? Is that what u mean? Based on the forum postings i think its taking any where from 1week - 5 months after FP2 based they receive RFE or not.
