Dec 2002 case approved

Just got my approval email! The whole process started about 4 years ago (i-485 received in Dec 2002). Although I came out of this process relatively unscathed -- no RFEs -– the waiting was most definitely tough. Last week, I couldn’t take it anymore, and asked my lawyers to make an inquiry (I was fingerprinted in early March). They snail mailed their inquiry last Friday. I wonder if this triggered the approval, given the timing, it could have. Also, for those of you who see no LUD changes after FP, etc, there were almost no LUD changes in my case either (it only changed when I reported my new address, and then just now changed to the approval message).

I’m praying for you all, especially 2002 and earlier filers..

Thank you guys for the kind words. And thanks, POJ, for the donkey. I must confess that I printed it out and put it on the bulletin board in my office :) Just made an infopass appointment even though I'm yet to receive a paper approval notice.

I'll still be checking the forum -- I'm way too addicted to this :) I'm actually already checking life after GC threads!
