I am a silent visitor to this forum
My case is approved on Jan 28 and my spouse and kids says
the receipt number cannot be found.I hope they are also approved as seen in previous threads.

RD Dec 4 2001
ND Dec 14 2001
1st FP 04-24-2002
RFE June 13 2003 (Employment letter,Marraige Certificate for my spouse)
RFE Received on July 7th 2003 update in website
2nd FP 11-01-2003 (done as scheduled) never updated in website
3rd FP 02-07-04 (Will be going this saturday )
3rd EAD applied on Nov 14 2004 still waiting for approval
EAD expires on 02/02/2004

AD Jan 28 2004

Jan 12 2004 i had contacted sentaor Rush holt and they issued a status inquiry and replied me
that my case is going through Name background check and wait until 30 days.
On Jan 21 2004 I had faxed to 802-527-4913 VSC to expedite mine and my family I-485 cases.
On Jan 22 2004 I had sent an E-mail to Immigration.Reply@dhs.gov with our case details.
I had recieved reply on Jan 23 2004 from Immigration within 24 Hrs that all our cases approved .
When i had looked in the website i saw the get updated.
I had checked the status On Jan 28 2004
at 6.00 PM and the website updated with information approved.

I do not know what triggered for my approval but I had done all the above events.

All 2001 people do what ever you can so that your file gets moved or gets approved.

Do I still need to go for FP on 02/07/2004?

Is the fax no. that you have mentioned correct - 802-527-4913. I have another one - 802-527-4816. To whom did you address the fax...I plan to send one too.

Congrats akra, could you please post the details for your FAX and email, like a sample letter, ofcourse you can hide all your personal details.

Here is the sample letter with XXXX to be filled out

My name is XXXXX .I live in City State
I and my family has filed I-485 (Employment based) in Vermont service center
in XXX XX 2001.
I had received a request for evidence on (Date) and my lawyer had
replied to the Vermont service center with all the evidences they had asked
for and the online website of USCIS shows they had received on (Date)
I and my family also had done 2nd finger print scheduled on Date and the online website of USCIS never updated this information. Mean while I
and my spouse again got 3rd finger print notice scheduled on (Date) from
Vermont service center.
I and my family had also filled out separate AR-11 for address change and
still didn't get any updated information from Vermont service center.
The processing times of Vermont service center shows they are currently
processing Jan 31 2002 where as my processing date is Date 2001 and
still not approved.

My family details are as below

Last Name First Name Relationship Service center I-485 RECEIPT#

XXXX XXXXX XXXXX VSC EAC020XXXXXXX

Can you please expedite my case.

Immigration people had replied that my cases were approved on
Jan 23 but the website never updated till Jan 28.Hope the confusion is gone

Congratulation....
Today I faxed all my info to Senator office, if i don't get any reply in next 2 weeks, I'm going to fax letter to VSC on this number.

akra, Congrats, It seems contacting VSC so many times would have triggered the approval and they must be glad to get you off their back :) .
