Dear all, Is I-134 (Affidavit of Support) needed for spouse\'s I-485?

If needed, do I have to swear before an authorized officer (to complete the last part of I-134) before submit my spouse\'s I-485? Thanks.
 
It depends

Our cases have been approved without I-134 since both of us are employed. I only submitted two employment letters. That\'s all.
