Hi,

Anyone with a recent timeline for the DCF at New Delhi consulate with New Delhi as the processing embassy? Or any timeframes after applying for DCF to getting the visa at New Delhi?

Thanks a lot.
Sumit

Actualy, There is no TimeFrame for people who file at New Delhi.
Bcz its Close Relative (CR1) or Immidiate Relative (IR1). Its all Depends on when you file and how fast Delhi send yr file to your nearest embassy such as Bomday,Culcutaa or Chennai.
Also, depends on workload of local embassy.
I hope this is enough info for you.
Take care
good luck

Yes I understand but I just wanted to know if someone has filed at New Delhi recently whose local consulate is New Delhi itself. And thats because I am from Punjab and my local consulate is New Delhi. But thanks Keyun. You are always helpful...

Hi sumit i m back again... :D Since your local embassy is in ND then it must be fast bcz it will take about 15 more days for us because ND will send our file to our local embassy so i m just taking guess that for ND people will take less then what it take for other embassy.
Anyway Good luck
bye

Received Packet 3... Hey keyun, where do you check the case status with the case number?
Hi SumitKgrarg,
Congrats your pk3 arrived in 16days thats good sing.
Here what your spouse need to do. First fill out what ever info they need and send it back to the embassy asap. Dont know which one is yrs. so i m sending all three embassy link.
http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/ (New Delhi )
http://chennai.usconsulate.gov/ ( Chennai )
http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/ ( Mumbai )

Click on the embassy which ever applies to you. Recently they change their website formate so once you click on the embassy then click on "Visas to the U.S" then on yr left hand side there is a link called " Immigrant Visas" click on that. Then for your interview date click on "Appointments" and there should be link where you can click on it and you will see all the appointment for the month by assending order.

You will not going to see yr BMB# for bombay, MDR for Chennai number untill you send yr PK3 and they dont update that list until 15th of each month. So since your spouse received pk3 try to send it back before August 5 th so you might be lucky to get interview date for September. otherwise will be on October.

Thanks for the info Keyun. My consulate is New Delhi. Packet 3 was received on 27th and was mailed back on 28th :)

requirements for filing DCF..

Is there any requirement that needs to met by the US citizen before he/she can apply for DCF for spouse in India, like number of months that one has
to spend in India?
I have just started looking into this and want to find out the ABCDs of this
process. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.
