Days for EAD Receipt after being mailed?

For my EAD application at Missouri Service Center, I requested an expedite processing, and I received the following reply:

Since the date we received your request, we have approved your case and an approval notice was sent on 02/10/2009 to the address we have on file.

It didn't arrive in the mail until yesterday 02/19.

Based on your experiences, how long should I wait before assuming that it's lost in the mail?

If you did not change address, it suppose to show up in 4 days maximum.
 
EAD replacement application - Receipt notice not yet received

Hi,
I had filed for a replacement EAD with NSC to correct a typographical error (USCIS typo) in my name. I had sent in all the supporting docs/photos/forms and my original EAD card to NSC on April 27,2009. I got a letter dated April 29,2009 with my check returned saying that no fee is required at this time but I haven't received a receipt notice yet. I am worried now.

Is there a receipt notice expected for a replacement EAD ?
