Hi,

I have recently got my green card ( Physical Card as well). Still my wife is wating for approval. We have a daughter, 7 years old living in India. She was with us for couple of years in US and then went back to India. Because of certain issues, i could not include her for greencard processing. Now she has expried visa stamp on her passport.

I am planning to bring her to US for summer vaccation in April. Gurus please advise me what is the best way to approach.

Thanks

Is there a similar rule to this situation as that to children born outside USA
to GC holders that can gran such chiildreb GC if their parents bring them back to USA on the first trip after birth?

having the child immigrate may be the only option.

That option is pratically no option for short term purpose
because it takes at least 5 years for visa to get
available for immediate relatives of GC holders.
But maybe there is some fast track for children

If the child was born before the parents got the GC, it's pure FTJ. There's no need for an I-130 at all.
