Date of Birth(Critical) Please help

I had applied Green Card for my parents. I had received a letter saying to provide non-availability certificate for my parents.

My cousins help me to get the non-availablity certificate for my father.


Complication for my mother. My mother passport says the date of birth as
27 September 1951

My cousin went to Local Municipality to get the BirthCertificate, there they did the search and came up with the date showing as August 30 1951.

The passport date of birth does not match the Birth Registry records.

1) What should I do now?
2) What will USCIS will think if I had to submit the Birth Certificate with different date?

Very nervous and have very little time.


Please help. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
 
How to fix it and how long it takes depends on the country. If your parents are in the US, it probably can be done within the US via the consulate of that country.
 
We are from India. My parents at present stay in US with me.

Did anyone had gone through the same situation?

Please advice.
 
Correcting DOB

I would check with the consulate first.. If you do it in India, a court order is required to correct DOB in the passport
