Date of Birth Certificate

Hi,

I need my date of birth certificate for sponsoring visa to my parents. I was born in Karnataka, India ,in a small village . My birth was not recorded at that time in the village Tahsildar office. The municipal office in the nearby town has no records for births prior to 1984.They are not in a position to issue my birth certificate.I was born in 1976.

So Please let me know how can I get my birth certificate. If any one had a similar situationn like this, please let me know how did you manage with the Birth certificate.

Is there any format in which I need to obtain my birth certificate? whats the procedure to obtain the same?

If anyone of you have that format Pls send me a copy.

Firstly, visit visas do not need sponsors.
Secondly, contact your nearest Indian consulate. They should be able to supply you with a document in lieu of your birth certificate.
