Will the LUD get changed if a Lawyer changes his address and submits a G28 during 485.
Please anybody...

One more thing is, if a officer opens a file will the LUD gets changed?

Will we get email at that time?

How long will it take for a officer to complete a file after he opens a file?

Yes the LUD changes for any action related to your I485 application and you will get letter for this action. That does not mean your application has been ready for process. The first LUD change is when they open your file the second change is when they actually change your address and put it back to the queue. So relax it is normal it happens to me so many times for example my daughter’s LUD changed two times for case inquiry and stopped.

2. What is the letter we will get for that is it a email?
3. I didn't changed my address. But my lawyer changed. Will that make my apllication LUD to be changed?
4. My PD is after Jan 2002. So why they will open my file?
 
relax... until you get a mail for the date change. maybe they are looking at you file so to make sure that you filed properly or they can screw you with a rfe.
