Date Change, no status change

The online case status service denotes a date change for my I-140, I-485 and I-131 today. However, there seems to be no change in the message. I had given a date change sometime ago but there was a date change for that earlier.

Any theories on what this means? It does not mention RFE, approval or anything. Anyone else faced this before?

I-140 ND Sept 23 2004 -- Still standing, still hoping...
 
Same here but LUD is changing for I-485 and no change for I-140.

Hey HasiruPatra,
I noticed you ask PD for every approval. did you see any pattern or trend for the 485 approvals based on PD? Please let me know.

I am not very sure what this priority date means. It is an EB3 thats all I know. Have not even seen the Labor approval etc.

It gives us ,some light on how they are processing. I have seen they processing cot 2003 till march 2004 but they are not based on the ND/RD. So may be based on PD. Its my thought.
 
LUD Change, no change in status message

My LUD for I-140/I-485 were changed on 12/10/04 as explained in my signature. However, i have filed my H1 extension(for < 6 yrs balance period) with ND: 08/31/04 with TSC as my current H1 expired on 08/31/04 and it's LUD was updated on 12/13/04 with the same message(rcvd..)

However, there were No LUD changes on today(12/14/04) for none of my above pending cases.

I am just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best..

It seems we all are in same boat. My I-140, I-485 and I-131 Date changed on Dec 13th and Dec 14th ...

My case

My I-131 for advance parole was denied. I apparently selected a wrong check box. They are very unforgiving even for the smallest mistake. Anyway, I will have to re-apply for the same. Have a question regarding class of admission.

I entered on H1B but since the visa has expired and I am awaiting I-140 and I-485. I am not sure what to put in the Class of Admission part of I-131. Anyone in a similar case please assist.

Just curious to know that did your LUD on I-140/I-1485 changed on today also? Mine only changed on 12/10/04.

1st EAD and AP RD - 10/16/03
2nd EAD - 9/27/04 - filed by myself - AD 12/9/04
2nd AP - 10/1/04 - filed by myself - AD 12/10/04

1st LUD on I485 - 8/4/04 - after FP.
2nd LUD on I485 - 12/15/04 - RFE issued (no idea what)

No LUD on I140.

My question is: "Is it common to have RFE for I485 and no LUD for I140?"
If anyone was in the same situation please let me know what to expect. Also does the 485 RFE go to the lawyer of applicant?

It appears they may be planning to adjudicate both 140 and 485 together. This is great news because you don't have to wait 2 more years like me after I140 approval. Good luck.
 
What did you read for LUD change

Hi, Guys
Is anyone can explain what did you see when you check your case status through BCIS online. What I can read is "on xxxxdate, we received your application ......" Where is the LUD? and what is the content after LUD changes? Thanks a lot!
