But the MOTHER's date of birth (DOB) and place of birth was incorrectly entered in section 18 of form DS 230 for Consular Processing a Green Card.

I am applying for my Mother's B1 Visa and her passport has a date different from the one entered by me in DS 230.
We will be applying for our citizenship next year and then we are also considering the application for my mother's green card in the next few years.
I am really worried. Do you see any problems with this?
Should we, proactively, inform USCIS of the error or just forget about it?
Are parent birth details captured and tallied later?
What could happen if this is uncovered?
Any other thoughts/recommendations?
Is there a way to rectify this issue?
