Newark INS Stamping expr....

Reached the INS office at Newark at 8:30 AM, parked car at
one of the many parking lots near the Fed. Building. Entered the
building from the orchard street entrance ( do not go in from
the Board St. or Walnut St). Was told to go to 10th floor.
Went into the room which has INS logos and took a token number
Was called to the counter in 10 min, the lady at the counter asked
for the
1) Passport
2) Courtesy copy
3) Photo's
4) EAD's
5) AP ( she took it even though it was expired)
Checked her computer, then took our finger prints and stamped
our passport and said we will get our Cards in 3 to 6 months.
That's it, every thing was over in 30 Min, was out of this office by 9 AM. Since there was lot of time to kill, my wife and I decided to go in and change the SS card. The SS office is right next to INS office (same floor). We walked into SS office, filled in the new form for SS card and was out of the SS office by 10 AM.
