Please help me if you know about this case properly...
after an interview in july 9th, I recieved my immigrant visa.

unfortunatly, after several days I find out there is a little water stain in my visa photo. the spot has 3mm height and width in left side of my face and didn't corrupt eyes, nose and mouth. but the stain is totaly white like an astroid hits the moon.

I don't know if it is a major problem, and if the answer is yes, is any chance to replace the visa or take an official note from embassy to pass me at airport immigration gate??

I would say just go ahead as if nothing is wrong, but be prepared to deal with the problem if the airline won't let you board. Ask for the supervisor if the clerk at the counter gives a problem. Then if that fails, go home and follow up with the consulate. Once you board the flight you should be OK, because at the POE in the US they can look up information and your picture to verify your identity.

It seems the damage is confined to a speck on the photo itself. Not having seen it, I cannot be sure, but it does not appear to be a show stopper at the airline check-in :)

Having worked the International Ticket Counter for a major airline, as long as the magnetic strip is intact and the Visa appears not to be tampered/fake, it should be fine. The Visa info is inputted along with the reservation info either by swiping it thru the mag reader or manually entered. That info is sent to CBP/DHS via APIS (Advance Passenger Information System) before the aircraft doors are shut prior to departure.

Just my humble opinion!

I don't expect it would be a problem, so I said go ahead and use it as if nothing is wrong and if a problem arises deal with it. I was just pointing out that "let the POE worry about it" is half the story, because if it is a problem, the airline can prevent the POE from having a say. The airline and the POE are both relevant.

Totally agree. Airline check-in staff at times can be a royal pain. Once I was checking in for a flight to Male (Maldives) at Dubai airport. Maldives is one of the dozen or so countries that allow Pakistanis travel visa free. So I decided to enter Maldives on my Pakistani passport. The check-in staff at Dubai was adamant that I need a visa. I tried to explain to them and even offered them the URL they need to confirm the fact. No luck. In the end I showed them my Canadian passport so that they will issue me a boarding pass. I switched passports on the plane and entered Maldives on my Pakistani passport. Bunch of morons :)
