My husband and I got married in our native country in 2001. We currently live in D.C., I came here on an F1 visa. We have not filed because we have been waiting for him to be able to get his citizenship. He will get it in November. There after we are going to move to Dallas, TX. Will we qualify to file for Dallas pilot program immidiately? Or will we have to wait a certain time? I have been on his health insurance for 5 years, we have thousands of pictures, I am on his life insurance, We are on the car insuarnce together, we have have bank account together, we many thing together.

As soon as you have moved to Dallas and have proof of your address there, usually driver's license, but other proof may suffice too, you can apply through DORA.

Dallas is not even required to be your only address for that matter ---- we own property in San Diego, but rent in Dallas area while finishing studies here.
