Dallas/Irving Oath Ceremony same day as the Interview?

Hi,

I have my scheduled interview at 10:20am on August 30th at the USCIS center, Irving TX. Does anybody know if I'll also be able to go into Oath Ceremony the same day, probably in the afternoon? Do they do both interview and oath in the same day at the Iriving center? If not, how long would I have to wait for the Oath Ceremony?

Yes.. they do the sameday Oath. I have applied for the expedited passport on the sameday and got it in 2 weeks.

Google maps shows it right but some GPSs or Yahoo does show couple buildings off... FYI...They let the kids be with you during interview process. Make sure no bottled water or any juices..they denied baby products too (weirdos). I had to go back to my car.

thank you for the info. I know where the place is since I've been there in the past for a couple of Infopass appointments. I also want to ask how long the wait was for you? Mine is scheduled at 10:20am, and it's a Monday morning. I don't know it will go fast and swiftly enough to make the same day oath ;(

Oath ceremonies are normally held at 1:30pm @ the Irving Center! In your case, the interview is at 10:20am; say you get to wait for some time and by 11:15 you will be out, max!

You have less chance of getting same day oath because they won't have time to verify your file and print the certificates.

Also, they do Oath on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Is this a DO specific thing? Do they held Oath ceremonies at certain days? I noticed some people have Oath the same day as their interviews while others have to wait for a month.
 
What do you mean by 2 weeks for expedited passport? I believe you can get the passport the same day. Have they changed their policy. I have the interview on Dec 2nd and I am planning for a trip on Dec 4th. Can't I take the passport in a day?
 
You can apply and get the passport same day if you apply at the passport agency and show them your booking. Houston has the passport agency. I am not sure about Dallas area.
