Yesterday after reading your message, I just wish that god help you to get hard copy before the last day so at least one person/family won't have to go through the pain of retrogression...

Pls Help!! Career Move
I am in the midst of making a career move. I have a current labor application filed in BEC in Marh 2005 but another employer is ready to file PERM EB2. I belong to "Rest of the World Catagory". What's your take on this should I go ahead and make the move in hope that EB2 will not retro for other countries in next 5-6 months.

I received an email from my lawyer today that they received the hard copy of the approved LCA. Now, I have to scramble to get my I-485 in before Oct 1st.
Many thanks to Icarus, gp111, and all of you for all the valuable information.
Does anyone have a comprehensive list of the documents reqd for 140/485? I will really have to scramble to get all of them by the end of the month. Wish me luck

I received an email from my lawyer today that they received the hard copy of the approved LCA. Now, I have to scramble to get my I-485 in before Oct 1st.

here are list of docs. Talk to your laswer and complete your medical exam first. If possible get all the photo copies, color photos during this week end. Rert of paper work will be done by your lawer

2. I-485, Application to Adjust Status, with copy of
I-94 and 2 photographs
3. I-131, Application for Travel Document, with copy
of passport identity pages and 2
photographs(Immigration photo).
4. I-765, Application for Employment Authorization,
with copy of passport identity pages and 2 photographs
5. I-765 Card. This is your signature card. This is
used to prepare you Employment Authorization Card.
6. G-325A, Biographic Information.
7. I-693, Medical Examination, with copy of
vaccination.
8. Evidence of valid nonimmigrant status, with copy of
both sides of I-94, copy of entire passport, and
written summary of beneficiary and spouse nonimmigrant
history.
9. Tax returns & W2 for last 3 years
10. 3 latest pay stubs
12. Birth Certificate.
13. Marriage Certificate.
14. Employment Letter.

I want to thank all contributors for this forum(especially Icarus and other gurus..). Although we can not do anything about how DOL operates, this place at least provides hope and support. Wish good luck to all awaiting their LC approvals - don't despair; have hope.

My lawyer has still not received the paper copy
How bad can things go.
i and my employer received the hard copy, however my lawyer has not yet received the hard copy (the original ETA - 750 was supposed to be sent to the lawyer)
I am keeping my fingers crossed, and preparing all the other things and keeping the application ready to be filed.
However if the lawyer does not get the hard copy, should i go ahead and file the I-485 without the original ETA - 750 form ?
Would that cause my application to be rejected or would it turn into an RFE ?
Is there any other option i can pursue (lawyers said that they are trying to contact Dallas BPC ) however no progress...
Guru's please help. I don't want to miss the Sep 30th deadline...

I'm not a lawyer, so ask one before you do anything.
I don't think you have anything to lose. If the real ETA750 doesn't come in time, file I-485 with your empoyer's and your own hard copy and try to attach the original later. If they don't check the whole file before the original is added, you might be OK. If they check when they receive, they might send you an RFE or reject the whole application - that you'll have to refile once your PD will become current. But if you don't do anything, you'll face years of inability to file I-485.gc_daastaan said:

the case).
The Dallas BRC is processing RIRs that were filed in 2002. They do not
have a consistent date that is being processed in 2002. As we have
mentioned in the past the BRCs have not published any processing times and
we have been asked by the head of the DOL not to do any inquiries at this
time since the BRCs are working on completing logging in 370,000 cases.

My PD is January 2003.The case is approved at state level already.
Can please some one help me understand what is going on with my case. When should I except to get Labor?
