Another week down and no approval. RATS!!!!!!!!

I am getting paranoid because of my address / company change.
Is there something wrong with my case?

Two things: first, I was excited by the reports of IIOs
saying they were processing Sept 15. I am Sept 24 (although
we all know the order is anyone's guess). Anyway, as
we move on and I don't hear anything other than that blasted
FP message, I start to think, "Hmm, we're pretty much through
Sept. Why hasn't my case been touched?"

Second thing is a couple of posters who say that IIOs say
RFEs have been issued, but not typed up. Something about
a possible mail-room back-log of a month.

Someone said the other day, the closer you get to
adjudication, the worse it gets.

I look at other peoples' approvals and I have to be
mindful of not being the type of person who says:
"Every time a friend succeeds, a little part of me dies..."

Anyway, one more thing. Isn't IIO -eye-eye-oh - swearing in
Tamil? :D :D :D :D

eye-eye-oh in Tamil

I beilive eye-eye-oh in Tamil or any other south indian language is just an expression like darn!

That won't be swearing , would it?

chicken65,

:) That's a very funny observation!! Probably, that is what they have been hired to say

Eye-Eye-O... your case hasn't been touched...

or

Eye-Eye-O... your case has been put on the shelf (this is the exact one I got... of course except the Eye-Eye-O)

:) By the way, what exactly does your ID stand for? I, very vaguely, remember hearing about a dish called "Chicken 65" like "Chicken Chettinad" :) Is that what it stands for? Anyway, good luck with your case. Hope you get approved soon!

phoaupkari,

Yes, it is an expression but like "Alas" cuz "darn" is swearing :)

Raj,

Thanks for the reply! Chicken 65 was this fried chicken appetizer
a Tamil friend used to cook. (He's a DBA but wants to be
a restrateur.)

But I digress... So I asked him what the 65 meant. He said
it meant the chicken was butchered when it was 65 days
old. But I could never tell with this guy. He was always
****ing with me. Especially when we would go and play pool
and have a few beers...

(Remembering back, that was a great gang! A Tamil, a Brahmin,
a Sikh, a Muslim, a Brit and an ABCD.)

When suitably lubricated, my Tamil friend used to start railing
against whichever nationality/group was there. He used to
tell me the British quit India because "Pundit Nehru <redacted>
Mountbatten's wife"...

He had a way of insulting anyone and everyone but he did
it in a mischievious, humorous way - and you'd love the guy for it.

Man, I'm rambling today. So, it was Chicken 65 or Iddly 02.
That's a word I love saying. Iddly, iddly, iddly, iddly :D :D

Do we have any Mandarin speakers participating on this site?

I think today is my day to laugh and smile! I loved that "Nehru .... Mountbatten's wife" statement .. lol .. Your friend definitely seems like a funny guy! Wasn't there actually something between Nehru and Mountbatten's wife? Whether it moved to the physical level or not, I heard that they did "like" each other a lot to the extent that Mountbatten had, at some point, asked her not to appear in public (like in a meeting etc.) with Mr. Nehru.

First, I heard on AVM that our case has been approved and then I read your post :) Definitely the two events made my evening.

So, are you still in UK? Vague recollection is that you are from Britain.
