Customs form - countries entered before US

Hi all,

I am a triple citizen but use only two passports, my US and my native passport.

I use my native passport for certain countries as it is much easier and no visa is required, whereas I use my US passport for everything else.

When I re-enter the US, which countries should I mention since my last exit? Only the ones which have stamps on my US passport or should I also include the ones from my native passport?

Thanks all.

Truthfulness is always good when dealing with government agents. If it were me, I'd list everything.

If I were a CBP officer at a PoE, I'd be highly suspicious if I somehow discovered you'd been concealing one or more of your destinations from me. Maybe sufficiently suspicious to send you for secondary inspection and have a good look through your luggage...

Assuming you have nothing to hide, it seems better to give the full list of countries you've visited that trip.

Clearly you need to mention all.

The USCIS allows citizens to travel on non-US passports in most cases providing you always use the US passport for entry to, and departure from, the States.

When I get my US passport I still plan to UK passport for travel to the European Community and the Commonwealth.

As others have said, definitely mention all the countries regardless of which passport you have used. Since US allows dual citizenship, using other country's passport for travel purposes is not a problem. However, you do need to be truthful when answering immigration/custom related questions.

It does not matter if you have a stamp or not, list all the countries you visited. It is mostly used to determine if you visited embargo countries (like cuba). Also your tax free allowance depends on the countries you visited.

I would advise you, my fellow triple citizen, to list all countries you have visited.
US Customs want to know where all you traveled before returning to the US. They really do not care which passport you used while traveling in those countries.

I am a triple citizen but use only two passports, my US and my native passport.

Thank you all for your recommendations, I am surely going to list all countries visited but I wanted to know whether the stamps need to correspond with the countries - clearly not since I can use multiple passports and the US allows it.
