Currently on H-4, Got EAD. Can apply for H-1b??

Hello everyone,

I am currently on H-4 and want to apply for H-1 this year. I have also got EAD based on my future employment as SKILLED WORKER (based only on experience) in July 07. I have not used EAD and not planning to use in future. I will join the future employment only after getting GC.

My question is

Do I have to mention to my new employer about my existing EAD for filing H1?

I will be filing for new H-1 under masters quota. Will it have any effect on my pending I-140 and I-485 application?

Any help in this matter would be highly appreciated.
