Current times for citizenship application at Raleigh-Durham office?

Based on what I'm reading about applying for naturalization it seems it's a long and difficult process with lots of paperwork to present, a lot of history to study, etc. So those of you who already went through it, how long does it take from the moment you apply until you get it? It would be especially useful if someone did it at the Raleigh-Durham (NC) office.

As for paperwork, I read the sticky here and I don't even know if I have all of that. Sure I may have tax returns for the past three years, but before that who knows. I may have them or not. Then the divorce judgment, etc, etc, seems like it's going to be a nightmare to try to find all of that. Do they ask for all these things at the Durham office? What happens if I don't have a tax return from 2009?

As far as the history or civics test, how difficult is it? Do you really have to study American history in depth? I'm familiar with the major events in American history, but taking the Naturalization Self Test, I got about half the questions right from about three sets.

Any insight anybody can give me as to how the process is at the Durham, NC office, especially how long it takes, would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Go to uscis.gov to find out the processing time for your office.

Anyway, did you read the instructions? The are asking 10 out of this 100 stupid questions and you need to answer 6 correct (if you got the first 6 right they'll stop).
