On November 28, 2007 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

Hi Friends,

Above is the message I got when I check my I-485 status. My case has been filed with USCIS as dependent to my wife. My wife's I-140 is still in process. So I didn't understand what exactly the status is. Does any one have Experience like this. Getting GC approved while Principal Applications is in pending/processing. I appreciate your quick reply. And helpfull info is appreciated.

Thanks,

Similar situation.. confusing

I got the same message except the date is "November 26, 2007", I did some research on web and found similar messages for lot of people. Some of them said they got their biometrics appointments just before it. I took my biometrics on Nov 2, 2007 as well but from the notice I got from my attorney as I did not received my copy of notice and I moved since I initially filed my 485. Yesterday I got again the biometrics notice, this time my copy with forwarding address from my previous address. I called USCIS and informed that I already took biometrics and updated my address. The friendly lady said if you already took the biometrics then you can ignore this letter. Also she said if you do not receive any document other than biometrics within 30 days, call back.
