One more question that everyone asks, Do i have to stay with my employer now? This is what my lawyer says
"In sponsoring your permanent residency in the U.S., the petitioning company has relied in good faith upon your commitment to accept their employment offer when such status has been granted. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) also placed similar reliance in your intent to work for the petitioning company when they approved your adjustment of status application or the U.S. Consulates granted you the immigrant visa to immigrant to the United States. For these reasons, we advise you to remain with the sponsoring company, and not voluntarily resign, for a reasonable period of time, i.e., a minimal of six months after becoming an U.S. Permanent Resident."
