Guys and Gals,

I am starting this thread to track ONLY India EB3s with PDs in 2001 who became current on June 1st. Please post any case updates in this thread.

PLEASE BE SURE TO MENTION YOUR SERVICE CENTER : TSC OR NSC?

Count me in. No LUDs after calling NSC thrice in last 2 weeks.

According to officer my security checks are cleared. However my case is not yet assign to any officer. my file is piled up with lots of other because visa# were not available.
 
I believe he/she got approval (from trackers in TSC)..

Thats good that atleast someone got approval from 2001. I just wanna go away from this forum but can't resist myself. Keep on checking new posts, new info, keep on checking status online again and again.
 
No updates..
Though I am not going to hold my breath waiting for USCIS to jump on my case just because the PD is now current..

No LUD change after 2nd fp. nc cleared. No updates on my case. Initiated status inquiry on friday. Hoping to hear some +ve news..

2nd finger printing done. No LUD change.

how can we know if name check is cleared

Hello,

How can we know if the name check is cleared ? I called twice last week,
particularly asking about name check. The rep., told me that they dont have
that information with them. And even asked me to schedule a infopass,
to talk to the immigration officer about. Does by this suggestion itself
mean anything ?

How can we know about name check status ?
I am just worried, if in case that is the reason for the delay.
Now at the same time I dont have any reason that the name check
isnt complete either.

Unsure at this point of time... any thoughts ?
I am sure most of us are in the same situation. But I do see with
some of us that state name check is cleared...

take infopass appointment with your local office and particulary check for namecheck, I just had one today and the lady told me my name namecheck is cleared and my case is pending
 
So I called NSC after a lot of heart pounding, got through to an agent who was at least polite while talking.

I told her my PD and App number and asked her if she could tell me if my case got assigned to an officer and how what is that status of my case as far as approval since my PD is now current. Her response:

Your case is in the area that assigns the case to an officer. It will take a "few weeks" for it to be assigned to an officer. And then it will take a "few weeks" for the officer to do a final review and approve the case.

I asked her if she could elaborate on the time line and she said that it might take 8-10 weeks.

Its looks to me we may need more waiting time. All approvals in the weeend I sow was RD is 2003 and 2002. So its more likely RD have priority over proirity date.
