Hi,

I am creating this thread to track those who became current in May 08. Have any of you tried to contact USCIS about your case? Would also like to know when you get yours approved.
 
I am also current in april..still waiting...cant do anything unless we are past 30 days from the processing times
 
is it a rule that processing date need to be past 60 days to contact Service Center?

Hi Shiva,

Let me put it this way.
TCS may respond to you at any time. But If you dont see any change in your case status, then 30 days past the processing date, you can call TCS and ask them whats happening? I am not 100% sure if its 30 days or 60 days.

Which means that if your RD is past the processing date of TCS, you cannot simply call them and ask whats going on? They will not answer you. They will say, wait for the date posted in processing times page which shows the date to be 30 days greater than your RD.

let me know if this is still not clear.

I get it.
On 25th April, the processing dates were announced for TSC/NSC and it is 11/Jul 2007.

Mine is border case RD July 11, 2007

I should wait until May 25th, 2008 before I can contact TSC/NSC.

Mine is filed at NSC, but I live in Texas.

hi

i filed my 485 in july 2007 at CSC (RD july 31, 2007) and later i received an I797 notice stating that it was transferred to TSC on october 4 2007. currently TSC is processing July 21,2007. should i be waiting for the TSC processing date to get past August 31, 07 (based on my CSC RD) or Nov. 4 , 07(based on the TSC RD)?

my PD is July 2002 EB2

All,

I am very much confused abt the dates.

What should we check ,the priority date or the processing dates.

I applied my I-485 in july 1 2007,ND is july 2,RD is August 31st.Centre is TSC.

The processing date now showing is July-16,2007.
But my priority date is in 2006.

Do i need to wait for years.
Which date should i look for,the processing or the priority?

Pls advice
