Hello everyone. Could someone that has recently submitted an H1 renewal at NSC please post the current processing time for this type of approval. My H1 renewal petition should be submitted by my employer within a week, and I am hoping to attend a conference in Victoria, BC around the 1st of August. My current H1 expires on June 30, so I would like to know my chances of having my renewal approval in hand by August 1 if my petition is submitted before the end of this month. That gives me about 4 months or a little more. Many thanks.

My h1b extension application receipt is from January 24 and I have not received yet any answer (more than 6 months). Same situation for another coleague of mine. However, another coleague got his extension pretty fast.
I suppose the applications are now in the "standard security check".
