Hello Guys
I am starting a thread for immigrants who came to USA based on marriage and have already got approved for removing conditions on their residency i.ee i751 but haven't recieved there cards yet.
My experience is as below.
I came to USA in May 2003 and on 2nd May 2005 I got notice from Uscis that my conditions has been removed and advised me to go to local INS office to get passport stamped with 3 pics and with my old green card.
I went to local INS office on May 12th insacramento and got my passport stamped. But till now no plastic card.
So on Auguist 1st I called at 800 number and I think they initiated an inquiry for CSC. Yesterday I got mail from USCIS which states that.
"Your file has been requested and it will take atleast 3 weeks.Form I-89 will be verified before being forwarded for card production. If another ADIT processing is required you will notified through mail in 4 weeks"
Now I am confused that what all this is going on. What they are going to do. I know what form I-89 is. I signed and gave fingerprint on that on day of stamping.
Can you guys share some experience or advise something.
Thanks
