Hello Guys

I am starting a thread for immigrants who came to USA based on marriage and have already got approved for removing conditions on their residency i.ee i751 but haven't recieved there cards yet.

My experience is as below.

I came to USA in May 2003 and on 2nd May 2005 I got notice from Uscis that my conditions has been removed and advised me to go to local INS office to get passport stamped with 3 pics and with my old green card.

I went to local INS office on May 12th insacramento and got my passport stamped. But till now no plastic card.

So on Auguist 1st I called at 800 number and I think they initiated an inquiry for CSC. Yesterday I got mail from USCIS which states that.

"Your file has been requested and it will take atleast 3 weeks.Form I-89 will be verified before being forwarded for card production. If another ADIT processing is required you will notified through mail in 4 weeks"

Now I am confused that what all this is going on. What they are going to do. I know what form I-89 is. I signed and gave fingerprint on that on day of stamping.

Can you guys share some experience or advise something.

Thanks

Today I called at Customer Service number

and the guy over phone told me to read the letter what it states. I read the letter and he said it seems to be pretty normal procedure.

Then I asked him do they request for everybody's file for this procedure and he said yes.

Then i requested him to take my WAC# and look into system to see if i can get some update. he put me on hold for 2 mins after taking # and came back and said we r having same info.

What u guys think . is ot normal procedure or what.

Pls reply

Because your case has no real problem, you got Green card, they approved it, that's it. Just think about thousands of people are still waitting for I-485 fingerprint appointment.

Buddy I understand what your are saying

and I pray for everybody that they get approvals and green cards asap.

But I think you didnt look at my problem , though I got my passport stamped till now I haven't got my green card. Moreover, I have already written wording of mail which I got from them in my first post of this thread. What does that actually signify.

After getting approved, I also got 1 DUI and now on probation and 2 times I forgot to send AR11. I am sure DUI doesn't have any impact on my card ,but what about not sending AR11. It was not intensional, I was just not having any knowledge of this law.

Please help
