CSC: SUB-LC/I-140, Any Progress??

I used labor subst. for filing 140 application and the LUD changed to 04/14-11/17-11/19-11/22 on 140 and on 485 05/20-10/27-11/17-11/19-11/22 . Though my spouses LUD is stuck on 10/27 - so what do I do - I sent an inquiry to FBI - let me if things start rolling on her application as well.

Your LUD 11/10, is it related to any inquiry or automatic?

On other hand, I am registered on uscis.gov, will I get email whenever my LUD changes OR do I have keep login that site every hour to check LUD?

It is automatic. There was no inquiry.
Many a times, you will not get email even if your LUD changes. Like if they pick your application for processing, LUD might change but u will not get any email. You will need to check uscis.gov site to see ur updates.
And if there is any decision on ur case, you may or may not get the email.
 
Going through other threads I found a case
CSCWAITLONG had LC SUB and I-140 RD was late Dec 2003. This case was approved long back in Oct-04. Not sure what criteria CSC works on. My RD is just month apart but no updates at all!! looks like LONG WAY TO GO!!!
 
Wierd!

My LUD Got updated just few minutes back. Now the msg reads -

On November 19, 2004, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

My I-140 is not yet approved. So what could this possibly be?
 
Nope, not on I-485! My lawyer did say that she has faxed an enquiry for my I-140. But it still baffles me that they could take my I-1485 for processing when my I-140 is still not approved!
 
I searched through the forum for similar experiences and looks like it can happen in 2 types of case prominently - either address change or approval. For me, its the former.

My I140 Approved on 22nd November. Got email on 23rd.

Substitute LC EB3 (Priority date march 1999)

140/485/765 RD 9th Jan 2004
140/485/765 ND 12th Jan 2004
765 Approved Feb 2004
FP done April 2004
140 LUD change 5/14/2004, 11/23/2004 ( 140 Approval email and status change on the USCIS web also saying the approval notice mailed on 22nd November'04)
485 LUD 5/25, 10/27 ( me and My wife) Kids LUD 5/25.
Hope I will get my 485 also soon..

GC2002CA. ( My original LC is still in federal priority date 03/2002)

mine is still 11/22/04
 
Yup, my LUD change today too. The msg now reads -

On November 29, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.
 
My I-140 got approved

Hi All,
Now, finally it is my turn to get the I-140 approval.
My story/details goes like this:

I-140 with labor substitution filed on 10/10/2003
I am EB-2. Company size ~5000, some layoffs
No RFE; my application was not touched at all till
Nov 2nd, 2004. Suddenly LUD changed to Nov 2nd and then Nov 3rd.
Online status still shows "Received", but my attorney
received the approval notice (I am not complaining :)

That's it. am planning to go for 485.

Thanks for providing the details. my case matches exactly to yours. Just my I-140 RD is 01/28/2004. Had LUD on I-140 on 11/29 and then 11/30. No updates after that. I hope to hear from lawyer soon. I am also waiting to file I485.

Got RFE .....

Finally, they touched my case again.
Got RFE for both I-140 and I-485 (mine). No update for my wife's I-485.
I guess RFE must be for company's financial info or my W2s...
But in this case, will they show RFE for I-485 too ?
