CSC EB I485 Tracking Weekly (10/09/01)
Twenty-four (24) new cases were added to this edition for a total of 1533 entries.
For approvals, five (5) cases were recorded since last Tuesday\'s update:
yyyy (EB3, ND 08/99);
emmjay (EB2, ND 09/99);
anytime68 (EB3, ND 01/01);
GG (EB3, ND 03/01);
baitha (EB2, ND 04/01);
The approvals of yyyy and anytime68 listed above should have been included in
the tracking edition dated 09/18/01. They informed me of the approvals in the
week of terrorist attacks. I did not pay attention to mails sent to me during
that period until this past weekend. Therefore, the actual number of approval
this week is only 3. This low number is probably a result of the ongoing INS
audit.
Finger print notices are being sent out in batch again. Many people have
reported that AVM actually reflects their finger print status. If this is
true, the new feature is a welcome change to the "broken" CSC AVM system.
I believe I have updated all the finger print data for folks who posted
their messages on the discussion boards. To save me time, please update
your data by e-mail or posting your FP update in this thread (so that I
don\'t have to go through all the posts, which is very time consuming!).
Thank you for your cooperation.
