CSC I-485 Filing- May to Dec 2005 Tracking

FBI name check still pending

Just for kicks, I sent an email request to CSC after the 'mass update' on 8/15 and 8/16 and I got a response today (pretty fast, isn't it?) that both my application and my wife's application are pending name check.

I was dreaming of the update being name check clearance, but I guess not.

It is good to know that CSC still responses email inquiries. I just sent an inquiry email to CSC today.
Hopefully I will get some reply in next two weeks.

Did you get a response from the congressman/senator regarding their FBI inquiry? I guess - if I'm not mistaken - it's been more than two months.

Anybody got a response through conbressman/senator inquiry from FBI?

Yes, a while back. Namecheck pending :-(

They told me that there is no point in inquiring for some time :-(

i too got same reply Pendinng since filing date.
and FBI will not respond untill 90 days passed for second fallowup :(

That is for 485. Did you see "485" in the email address?
To inquiry the 140 status, simply replace 485 with 140 for the above email address.
 
As days go by

I see a lot of Dec2004 folks stuck in NC getting through these days.

So perhaps for the bunch of us, its going to be another 9months of wait in the best case.

Anyone considering WoM ?

I've been thinking about it. But for that, one should exhust all the alternatives, which I haven't yet. I have not recieved any response from FBI (through congresswoman/senator).

i recieved the copy of letter addressed to Senator from FBI.

summary of the letter.

Pending from the filing date (Sept 20 2005),
They want clear as expeditiously as possible !!!!
Not able to predict exact time frame to clear the case.
Understand that FBI does not want to make a flaw in there procedure.
Blah, blah, and Take there own time clear the pending cases.
Inform the constiuent of the senator.

Hello All,
I was wondering when these guys are going to put October's Visa Bulletin....I just hope that they donot retrogress again like they did last October.

I got LUD today with this message. Does anyone know what does it mean? approval or problem?

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

Processing for your Alien Registration Card or Green Card has been completed. Your USCIS document will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

How can that be a problem? it clearly states that cards will be mailed.. Did u really have a question or were u rubbing ur freedom on us? :)
