CSC Emergency Phone# No More Live Assistance?

Hi Logicators,

Even today i received my AP documents.They posted from UCCIS only on May 16th 2005 only.Today i received.

The line is still working

I just called the number 949-389-3007. After a few trials, I got a chance to talk to an officer.

Just for the record I filed my EAd and AP on April1st and I got the approvals last week . I did not use efile but used direct mail and it was pretty fast . I wish they do the same for my GC :)

I could talk to a live agent on the emergency number

Just now called the CSC emergency number and talked to a nice guy who told me that my name check is pending and apologized that they can't do anything but wait...
 
Now FBI sending reply to e-mail sent in DEc.04 they are very slow but it depends upon luck, u might get lucky.

How do you know that FBI is replying to e-mails sent in Dec 04? Have you seen many people receive e-mail replies ? Also if you have seen, are the replies positive or they just say that "YOUR NAME CHECK IS PENDING " ?

I called CSC today.

One of the lady is impolite, abruptly say it's a line reserved for attorneys only, then hang up.
 
How to get information from CSC emergency number?

hi, I am new here, I saw some people got information through CSC emergency phone number 949-389-3007. But when I called today, the lady said the line was only for the attorney. Then she referred me to the BCIS main 800 number, which I was waiting on the phone for 20 minutes, and the customer Rep. said they don't know if my file is under the process of the name check or not.
So I'd like to know how did you guys get the information? Did you pretend to be the lawyer? What kind of information you need to give to them?

LUD :04/15/2005, 04/18/2005 (No change in message)

I think depends on the immigration officer you get on line.

I called emergency line on 6/9. The officer was polite, told me name check was pending, also provided me with info that name check request was sent out on Oct 9, 2005. IBIS (Do not know what it means) check was recieved on 10/27/04 (Now I know why there was LUD on 10/27).

He told me most of name checks which go for additional checking are received back in 8-12 months time.

Got new LUD for 485 on 6/10 after the emergency call.

So, try again, you will get some good guy.

I called again

hi, thank you for your information. I called again this morning, the first sentence they ask me was " Are you an attorney?". I said " NO". So they gave CIS 800 number.
I would like to know do you guys have any skill or some tricks to call the emergency number? Thank you for your sharing.

GC_GoneCase, I am not sure I understand you .. Are you saying your NC is cleared or not ? And what they are waiting/checking for in your case if the NC result has come fine ?

I wrote an email to the Div-XII address and got a fast response from a
"Center Adjudications Officer".

The response is: "Adjudication should occur in 4-6 weeks"

That does not seem like an auomated response - right? I hope this
means they would process the case within 4 to 6 weeks. Anybody
has any opition/experience?
