Criminal Record and Resident Card Renew

Hello,

I have been a perminent resident in US for 17 years now. Just graduated from college and applied to renew my resident alien card. During my the process of I90 after fingerprint processing was done. I got a letter for request for Court Documents for my conviction back 7 years ago. The violation is for shoplifting a $50 dollars and less.

I was in high school when I made my mistake. Will this have effect on my resident alien card renewal???
