When I was 12 years old I came to this country in July 1986.
I stayed here until 1989, went back to Brazil and then came back in 1990.
In 1991 I was arrested wiith a group of friends for 3rd degree tresspassing when we were playing at an abondoned house.
I went to court and the judge gave me 2 years probation and comunity service. I performed the comunity service and stayed out of trouble.
Since then I have completely stayed out of trouble and have been here in the US all this time.
My Mother became a US citizen last year and she applyied for me. I received the approval letter from UCIS and the consular visa center, but my priority date is Nov 2005, and they are still working on 1997. So I'm thinking of applying to this new law if it is passed thru congress.
Question?
With this new law, will I be ok as far as my Criminal background check, or could it be a problem?
