Credit History Built on Work Visa Transferable to New SSN

I have been working in the states with work visa and built credit history based on the ssn number provided for the work permit. When you qualify for Green Card through DV with new SSN, does that mean you have to rebuild your credit history again?

When you qualify for Green Card through DV with new SSN

You don't get a new SSN, so your credit history stays.

From what I read in other places in this forum, you get a new card with your old SSN.

you get a New card, with red writing that says "valid with INS authorization only" removed. The number is the same, it stays with you for life.
