You have very similar qualifications as mine. I posted here a few weeks ago and the opinion I got from a lot of senior members were positive. For you, I would say the same - go for it. Are you from one of the retrogressed countries?

You can use three points - authorship (via your papers), contribution to your field (via your citations) and being a judge of others' work (via reviewing process and chairing experience).

Overall, I would say your number of citations is low but then it is also field dependent. If so, you can get stronger letters from people you don't know personally but only through your work.

Good luck!

9. A major media in US recently called me for some comments and quoted my words with my name, can I claim this as media coverage?
