I am in my second year MBA program on a F1 visa. Over the summer i enrolled for CPT and worked at a bank in NYC. The CPT required that I complete a credit course over the summer. I did not complete the course and recieved a NoCredit for it. Does this impact my OPT / H1 application?

DId you enroll in the course and just never got a grade for it and it's incomplete? In this case, just submit whatever paper or report you need to do and make sure you get a grade for it. I had to enroll in three courses when I did CPT and got a grade for only one of them. The other two are still incomplete and have been incomplete since 1999.

or did you NOT enroll in the course at all? it means that you worked illegally. Bad idea.

Thanks for the response Lucy. I enrolled for the course and had the CPT authorized on my new I 20 but did not complete the course and now the MBA program office is not willing to accept a late completition. They have given me a fail for the course. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help
 
Oooops. Talk to your advisor and maybe, you could beg the MBA program to let you do something about it so you don't fall out of status.
