Hi friends,

I applied for my I-140 recently and opting for CP and I have the following questions for you guys and would really appreciate if someone could answer these questions: FYI, I applied for I-140 on 08-05-02 from Nebraska Service Centre and would be attending CP at Chennai Consulate, India.

1. How long does it take to get I-140 approved?
2. How long does it take to schedule an appointment for CP at Chennai Consulate after the approval of I-140?
3. What are the different steps need to be followed while and after I-140 processing? (to save time)
4. What is the approximate time frame and intervals for NVC, and for receiving the so-called "packets" from INS and for scheduling an interview?
5. Please let me know the correct procedure for CP after I-140 approval.
