Could you please clarify the follwoing:
1.) Does BC need to have full last name? (On my BC, they prinited only Initial B for Buttreddy). And they Did not print my parents last name at all? Is it O.K

2.) My marriage date on MC and Wedding card is different. Is it creates any problem? We got married on 27th May and we registered with registor office on 30th May.

I had the BC just as you have mentioned. No problems during interview.

Wedding invitation was not mentioned in any of the list of documents
to submit. You could print it with the name on MC if you really
wanted it to match.

1. PCC is not applicable as of now might be a requirement in the future so dont worry on it.Actually I asked the consulate about it.

I am from Chennai so did not stay in hotels.
My reco will be

1. Savera---------3 star
2. chola or TAJ---- 5 star
They are near the consulate and good to my knowledge.

Photo tips:

Immigration VISA shots are side angled shots as mentioned in P IV.
For medicals straight shots.

white background for visa shots. Take extra shots 8 copies good.

wear white so that when U sign at the bottom it shows.

I saw people being allowed water bottles inside consulate when I went so take water.

If U are going by car, parking is a problem. There is a Hotel called Woodlands drive-in with huge parking space so just park there and walk accross.
Inside consulate pepsi cofee and vada available.

The first 10 people can be accomodated in the ac room and the rest will be in shamiana. Arriving @ 7:30 we were the fist. Ofcourse after paying the app fee and submitting doc U will be asked to go and wait out in shamiana.

Weather is very pleasant now in chennai.
